Ingredients

1/3 c. cornstarch
1 3/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate syrup
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 (8-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Combine cornstarch, milk, salt, syrup, egg yolks and sugar in medium microwave bowl.
Microwave on Medium-high 6 to 8 minutes or until thick.
Stir every 2 minutes with wire whisk.
Stir in vanilla and pour into crust.
Chill several hours or overnight. Garnish with whipped cream or egg white topping.
