Almond Brittle(Candy) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. blanched slivered almonds
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. chocolate (milk or semi-sweet; optional)
Preparation

Cut a 1-foot length of aluminum foil; lay on a heatproof surface and butter it evenly (butter, margarine or nonstick spray work equally well).
