Almond Danish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 Tbsp. water
2 oz. slivered almonds
6 cherries
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. water (approximately)
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
-
Cut 1/2 cup butter into flour.
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of water.
Mix with fork until blended.
Round into ball and divide in half.
Spread each half onto ungreased baking sheet, making 2 strips 12 x 3-inch about 3 inches apart.
