Sausage And Grits Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. grits (not instant)
2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 lb. pork sausage, cooked and drained
Preparation

Cook grits in a large saucepan with the water and salt following package directions.
Fold in cheese and mix well.
Add eggs, milk, thyme and sausage, stirring until all ingredients are well combined.
Pour mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
