Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. finely chopped apples
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    6 oz. frozen coconut, thawed
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0. Combine oil and sugar. Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each egg. Sift dry ingredients together. Add half of dry ingredients to oil and sugar. Beat well and add remaining flour; beat well. Add apples and nuts last. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
