Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 qt. popped corn
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1/3 tsp. salt
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Keep popcorn hot in slow oven. Cook sugar, water, salt and corn syrup to very hard ball stage. Add vinegar and some vanilla. Cook to light crack stage.
Slowly pour over popcorn. Stir well to coat every kernel, then press into balls. Use fat on hands if necessary.
Makes 20 popcorn balls.
