Favorite Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugar gradually and cream well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift flour several times; add soda and resift once.
    Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream.
    Add flavoring and pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
