Quick Mayonnaise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large egg, at room temperature
    5 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 tsp. Dijon style mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1 c. olive oil, vegetable oil or a combination of both (I use safflower oil)
Preparation
    In a
    food processor or blender with the motor on high, blend the egg, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper.
    Add the oil in
    a slow
    stream
    and
    turn the motor off.
    Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
