Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 crust pie shell, cooked
Preparation
    Clean and remove tops of berries.
    Mash berries to make 1 cup and put into saucepan with sugar and cornstarch.
    Mix well.
    Add 1/2 cup water.
    Cook until thick and clear.
    Let cool, stir occasionally.
    Place remaining berries in pie shell.
    Pour cooked mixture over berries in shell.
    Let cool.
    Serve with whipped cream.
