Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, creaming shortening and sugar first, then add eggs and dry ingredients last.
    Roll into small balls.
    Dip into mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
    Place on cookie sheet.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Makes 6 dozen or more.
