Bacon Almond Potato Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large potatoes, peeled, chopped, cooked and mashed
    5 slices bacon,cooked crisp and crumbled
    4 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 large green onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. salt
    finely chopped almonds
    1 egg beaten
    all purpose flour for rolling
    vegetable oil for frying
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, bacon, butter, green onions and salt.
    Chill in fridge for two hours.
    Shape into balls.
    Roll in flour, egg and almonds.
    Deep fry.
    Serve immediately.
