6 Layer Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large avocados
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
2 (8 oz.) jars picante sauce
1/2 c. chopped green onions
3 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
8 oz. sour cream
Preparation

Peel, seed and mash avocados.
Stir in garlic powder, garlic salt, lemon juice and mayonnaise.
Spread evenly in 12 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Spread on sour cream.
Strain picante sauce (save liquid for other use).
Spoon strained picante sauce over sour cream.
Top with green onions and tomatoes.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Serve with tortilla chips.
