Pasta Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked pasta (elbow or shells)
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
    3 apples, peeled and diced
    1 c. whipped topping
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to directions on package.
    Combine eggs, sugar and lemon juice.
    Cook egg mixture over hot water until it begins to thicken.
    Let cool.
