Aunt Irma'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. cocoa
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add cocoa to dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla.
Beat well.
Add boiling water last.
Pour into two 8-inch greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans.
