Cheese And Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 oz. sharp grated Cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. flour
1 large onion, sliced
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
1 c. milk
1 egg, plus an extra yolk
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix cheese and flour by tossing; set aside.
Melt margarine in a large skillet and saute onion slices until tender, breaking them into rings as you stir.
Next, line the pie shell with most of the onions, then all the floured cheese and finally, top with remaining onions.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the top.
Bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes, then reduce to 325\u00b0 for another 25 to 30 minutes or until filling sets.
