Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round, flank or chuck steak
1/4 c. corn oil or canola
1 clove garlic
1/2 c. coarsely chopped onion
2 c. green pepper or any color, cut into bite size pieces
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ginger root (optional)
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. brown sauce (Gravy Master)
1 c. stock or bouillon
Preparation

Slice steak thinly across grain and cut into strips 2 inches long.
Place garlic in hot oil and remove after a few minutes. Brown meat in oil.
Add onion, green pepper, salt, pepper and ginger.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until just tender.
