Potato Latkes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 large egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Peel and grate potatoes and onion into large bowl.
    Stir in egg, flour, salt and pepper.
    In large heavy skillet, heat 1/4 inch oil.
    Drop potato mixture, a heaping tablespoonful at a time, into hot oil and flatten with a spatula.
    Fry latkes several at a time about 2 minutes on one side; turn and fry on other side 1 minute or until golden.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Keep warm in 200\u00b0 oven until all latkes are fried.
