Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. oleo
    6 qt. popped corn
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Boil sugar, oleo, syrup and cream of tartar for 7 minutes. Place popcorn in large roaster; pour sugar mixture over top, stirring, until coated.
    Place in oven and bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    You can also add 2 cups salted peanuts to popcorn before baking.
