Hot Crab Open Facers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (7 1/4 oz.) can crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. finely chopped onions
1/4 tsp. prepared mustard
3 English muffins, split and toasted
Preparation

Stir together crabmeat and mayonnaise; set aside.
Beat together cream cheese, egg yolk, onion, mustard and dash of salt until smooth and creamy.
Spread toasted muffin halves thinly with butter, then with crab mixture.
Top with cream cheese mixture.
Cut into bite size pieces.
Place on lightly greased baking sheet and broil 5 to 6 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until top is bubbly and golden.
