Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Bisquick mix
    2/3 c. milk
    3 to 4 large tomatoes
    grated onion
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. grated cheese
    salt and pepper
    Italian seasoning
Preparation
    Mix biscuit mix and milk; spread in bottom of greased 9-inch pie plate.
    Cover tomatoes with boiling water for a few minutes. Peel and slice thinly.
    Layer in pie shell.
    Top each layer with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and grated onion.
    Continue until pie is level.
    Mix mayonnaise and cheese and spread over top of pie.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until nicely browned.
    Let set for 10 minutes before slicing.
    Add a green salad and you have a great summer lunch or serve as a side dish with hamburgers or steak.
