Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 sticks butter or margarine (room temperature)
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 pkg. frozen coconut
    6 eggs, room temperature
    1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor or 1/2 tsp. almond flavor
Preparation
    Cream butter about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy, then add sugar and continue to beat until smooth.
    Add eggs one at a time beating after each.
    Sift flour and soda and salt together. Add to creamed mixture with sour cream.
    Bake in tube pan for 1 hour or until tester comes out clean.
    Bake at 325\u00b0.
    I grease and flour my pan.
