Repta Denton'S Southern Spoonbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pt. sweet milk
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
butter the size of an egg

Preparation

Let milk come to a boil and put in sugar, butter and salt. Stir in 1/2 cup meal and the well beaten egg yolks.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
Pour in buttered baking dish or pan and cook at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
