Marti'S Veggie Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef or turkey, browned and drained
3 (10 3/4 oz.) cans beef broth
3 (10 3/4 oz.) cans water
1 (10 3/4 oz.) Snap-E Tom tomato juice
1 box mixed frozen vegetables
1 box frozen lima beans
1 c. quick barley
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes with liquid
1 box frozen black-eyed peas
4 carrots, sliced
1 large onion, chopped
4 to 5 potatoes, chopped
1 bay leaf
basil, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Combine
beef or turkey and onion in large
Dutch
oven and brown; drain.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Simmer
3 hours. Stir occasionally.
Freezes great!
Can substitute any frozen vegetables your family likes.
