Mushroom Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1/4 c. green onions, sliced
    1 Tbsp. butter
    4 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. half and half, light cream or milk
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a skillet, over medium heat, cook mushrooms and onion in butter until mushrooms are lightly browned, six to eight minutes. Spread mushroom mixture evenly in bottom of pie shell.
    Sprinkle Swiss cheese over mushroom mixture.
    Beat together remaining ingredients, until they are well blended.
    Pour over mushroom mixture and cheese.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
