24 Hour Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    3/4 c. canola oil
    1 large cabbage, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Bring sugar, vinegar, salt and celery and mustard seed to a boil; add oil.
    Pour over cabbage and onion.
    Let stand, covered, in refrigerator for 24 hours.
    Keeps well.
