Soap - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. rain water
1 can Lewis lye
1/2 c. Borax
1/2 c. sugar
5 lb. melted fat
1/2 c. ammonia

Preparation

Stir together first four ingredients in the evening and let stand overnight in crock or granite pan.
