Cheese And Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. crackers (crumbs)
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 1/2 c. onions, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup butter.
    Press evenly into 9-inch pie plate.
    Saute onions in 2 tablespoons butter until tender, not brown.
    Spread onions over crust.
