Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. finely chopped apples
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cooking oil
    1 c. seedless raisins
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Combine apples, sugar and cooking oil.
    Let stand 1 hour, stirring often.
    Scald raisins and let cool.
    Mix flour and spices together.
    Sprinkle a little flour over nuts and raisins and then combine.
    Add flour mixture, eggs and vanilla to apple mixture. Mix well.
    Add nuts and raisins.
    Mix well.
    Put into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
