Sweet Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. home ground cornmeal
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients until batter is smooth. Pour batter into greased bread pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes. After corn bread is done, spread margarine on top. Makes about 18 pieces.
