Oriental Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, in thin-sliced strips
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 cubed green peppers
    1 medium onion
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Over high heat, brown beef strips; push up to sides of pan. Mix garlic, sugar, ginger, 1/4 cup soy sauce and water.
    Reduce to medium heat and add meat.
    Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Increase to medium-high heat and add peppers and onions.
    Stir-fry for 5 to 10 minutes.
