Calamari Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, pressed
    1/4 c. fresh or 2 tsp. dry parsley
    2 tsp. dry basil
    4 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. oregano
    4 large cans tomatoes
    1 lb. calamad
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oil until soft over low flame.
    Add parsley and basil.
    Heat 1 minute.
    Combine the rest of the ingredients, except calamad, to onion mixture and cook 1 hour. Add calamad and cook until tender, approximately 15 minutes.
    Do not overcook fish.
