Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. milk
    1 c. white rice
    1/2 pt. half and half
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a double boiler, put milk, rice and salt.
    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Separate eggs; put whites aside.
    Mix egg yolks, sugar, vanilla and half and half.
    Stir into rice mixture after 1 hour cooking time.
    Cook whole mixture another 1/2 hour and simmer.
