Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/3 c. water (105~ to 115~)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. coarse salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Grease 2 cookie sheets.
    In large bowl, sprinkle yeast over water.
    Gradually add sugar, salt and flour. Knead on floured board 5 to 7 minutes.
    Cut dough in half, then cut each half into 6 equal parts.
    Roll and stretch into 15-inch ropes.
    Shape into pretzels.
    Brush with egg and water.
    Sprinkle with coarse salt.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Makes 12 pretzels.
