Jalapeno Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh squash or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen squash
    8 slices bacon
    bread crumbs
    1 roll jalapeno cheese, cut up
    1 large onion, cut in rings
Preparation
    Boil squash; drain.
    Fry bacon and crumble.
    Brown onion rings in bacon drippings.
    Layer 1/2 of squash, bacon, onions and cheese in 9 x 9-inch casserole dish.
    Repeat layers.
    Top with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 325 \u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serves 10.
