Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Karo syrup
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. butter
    2 c. raw peanuts
Preparation
    Bring Karo syrup, sugar and salt to a boil. Add raw peanuts, stirring constantly. When liquid turns caramel colored, add 1 teaspoon soda and stir well.
    Pour onto lightly greased (Pam) heavy duty tinfoil.
    Let set until cold.
    Break into pieces by tapping with handle of butter knife.
