Winter'S Best Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 3/4 c. sugar, divided
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. light molasses
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ground cloves
    2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Mix together margarine and shortening.
    Work in 2 cups sugar. Cream all together until light.
    Beat in eggs and molasses.
    Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and ginger.
    Beat flour mixture into creamed mixture.
    Beat hard; mixture will be soft.
    Chill dough for at least 1 hour.
