Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground turkey or beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes (undrained)
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce plus 2 Tbsp. flour or 1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation

Crumble meat into a 3-quart casserole.
Add green pepper, onion and garlic.
Cover tightly with Saran Wrap and microwave on High for 6 to 9 minutes, breaking up meat and stirring after 4 minutes, until meat is no longer pink.
Drain and rinse meat mixture to remove fat.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover tightly and microwave 12 to 18 minutes.
Stir every 6 minutes until boiling.
