Hasty Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 c. fruit and juice (canned fruit such as apricots and peaches or fresh fruit such as dewberries or plums)
Preparation

Measure and sift together the flour, sugar and baking powder. Add milk.
Mix well.
Dot an 8 x 8-inch square baking dish with the butter.
Pour mixture into the dish.
Add fruit.
Pour juice over fruit.
Bake at 400\u00b0 about 30 minutes or until brown on top and bubbly.
