Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium green tomatoes
    1/4 c. corn meal
    nutmeg
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes thickly.
    Mix flour, corn meal, salt and pepper. Coat tomatoes with flour mixture.
    Place tomatoes in hot oil. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Cook on medium-high heat.
    Cook quickly, just lightly browning.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serves 4 to 6.
