Mag Crump'S Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. berries, cut up
Preparation
    Boil together water and 1 cup sugar until thick like syrup. Add 1 cup berries, cut up.
    Let come to boil, cook for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup berries.
    Let come to boil.
    Cook 10 minutes. Pour into bowl.
    Let stand for 24 hours.
    Fill jars and seal with paraffin.
