Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 c. drained fruit cocktail
Preparation
    Mix in order given.
    Beat well.
    Put in greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 c. chopped pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
