Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can yellow creamed corn (No. 303 size)
    2 eggs
    1 can milk
    1/4 c. oil or bacon drippings
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 cloves garlic
    3 to 5 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add corn, eggs and milk.
    Saute the onions, garlic and peppers in the oil, then add to the rest of the mixture.
    Pour half the mixture in pan. Sprinkle half the cheese, then add remaining mixture and cheese.
    Bake in iron skillet or 9 x 13-inch pan in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
