Lemon Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks or 2 whole eggs
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    3 2/3 c. cake flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    egg for glaze
    milk
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Beat eggs well and add with the milk and lemon extract.
    Mix and sift dry ingredients.
    Add.
    Chill. Roll 1/8 inch thick.
    Cut and brush tops with egg diluted with milk.
    Bake in a moderate 375\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
