Meringue Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks, beaten
1 c. cake flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar (1/2 granulated and 1/2 4xx sugar, powdered)
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar. Sift together flour and baking powder.
Alternate flour and milk when adding to butter-sugar-milk mixture.
Add vanilla.
This makes a thick batter, which should be spread thinly over two 9-inch cake pans.
