7-Up Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
    1 to 1 1/2 c. 7-Up (do not use a canned drink)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cream margarine and shortening.
    Add sugar; mix until creamy.
    Add 1 egg at a time.
    Add flour gradually.
    Add flavorings.
    Slowly add 7-Up.
    If batter is too thick, may add more 7-Up.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes (approximately).
