Perfect Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. ice water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 egg
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar and salt.
Add shortening and mix until crumbly.
In small bowl beat together the ice water, vinegar and egg.
Add to flour mixture and stir ingredients until moist. Divide dough into five balls.
Wrap each in plastic bag and refrigerate about 30 minutes before rolling.
Pastry will keep in refrigerator 3 days or can be stored in freezer.
Makes 2 double and 1 single crusts.
