Paella Casserole(Chicken, Shrimp, Sausage And Rice) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/2 c. olive oil
    3 to 4 lb. chicken pieces
    2 c. rice (uncooked)
    2 tsp. saffron
    4 c. hot chicken stock
    12 raw shrimp
    1 c. peas
    2 sweet red or green bell peppers, sliced
    8 thin slices chorizo or highly seasoned sausage, in small pieces
    12 clams in shell (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 (176\u00b0C).
    In a Dutch oven, lightly saute garlic in oil over moderate heat.
    Remove garlic.
    Brown chicken in same oil.
    When brown, set chicken aside.
    Add rice to oil; stir until browned.
    Dissolve saffron in chicken stock (hot), then add all ingredients together, except shrimp and clams.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Arrange shrimp and clams on top; bake for an extra 10 minutes.
