Ham And Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dried navy or soup beans
4 c. ham broth
ham bone
2 c. chopped canned or fresh tomatoes
2 onions, sliced
1/2 c. chopped celery leaves or stalks
2 Tbsp. cut-up parsley
leftover ham
Preparation
-
Soak the beans overnight; drain and cook in the ham broth with the bone until tender.
Add the other vegetables and cook them until they are soft.
Remove the bone; add parsley and pieces of leftover ham.
Simmer for a few minutes, then serve.
It will be thick and delicious.
