Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. milk
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    6 eggs
    vanilla to taste
Preparation
    Place all the milk except a cup in double boiler.
    Get real hot.
    Beat eggs thoroughly.
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Add sugar mixture and 1 cup milk.
    Add eggs.
    Mix good.
    Add to heated milk, stirring constantly until it thickens.
    Add vanilla.
    If lumpy, strain.
    Place in refrigerator.
