Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    narrow strips of pastry
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (9-inch) plain pastry shell
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Beat in 3 eggs one at a time.
    Add 1 cup white corn syrup.
    Beat together well; add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped pecans.
    Pour into pie shell and bake at 300\u00b0 until center is firm, about 1 hour.
